About Us
Welcome to,
ART IKIGAI(The Concept Gifting Co.)
At ART IKIGAI we believe that gifts should be more than just objects, they should be associated with memories and experiences. We are on a mission to redefine the way people give and receive gifts by introducing concept-driven products.
Our Story
Our first concept, "Hindi Hai Hum", aims to revive the forgotten fundamentals of the Hindi language (HINDI VARNAMALA).
The idea for the First Concept ”Hindi Hai Hum” was sparked on Teacher’s Day, when a friend playfully challenged the founder to recite the Hindi alphabet. Despite having studied Hindi for over 13 years, excelling in numerous exams, and using it daily as his mother tongue, the founder found himself struggling to recall the alphabets. In contrast, the English alphabet rolled off his tongue effortlessly.
This jarring realization prompted the founder to dig deeper. He surveyed friends, family, and even strangers, and discovered that only 3% of those asked, could recite the Hindi Alphabet(VARNAMALA) correctly. Many could not recite it at all, while others made several mistakes. This statistic was both alarming and disheartening, highlighting a significant gap in basic linguistic knowledge, despite the widespread use of Hindi.
Determined to address this issue, team Art Ikigai searched for products, particularly T-shirts with Hindi Varnamala (Alphabets). Despite, searching for hours on Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Pinterest and other platforms, to our surprise we were unable to find one T-shirt which had Hindi Varnamala design.
We Started with our First Concept ”Hindi Hai Hum” with a clear,
MISSION : To connect at least 1 MILLION people with the Hindi alphabet(VARNAMALA) between
Hindi Diwas (14 September 2024) and World Hindi Day (10 January 2024). Our unique T-shirt designs are crafted to make learning Hindi Varnamala engaging and memorable, blending education with everyday fashion.
But we are not stopping there.
VISION : A world where World Hindi Day( 10 January) becomes synonymous with
WHAR (World Hindi Alphabet Revision) Day.
We dream of a day when Hindi-speaking communities across the globe come together to RECITE and REVISE, Hindi Varnamala at least ONCE, EACH YEAR and celebrate this occasion with enthusiasm, much like a festival, fostering a sense of unity and cultural pride.
Join us on this journey to celebrate and revitalize the Hindi Language. By wearing our T-Shirts, you are not just supporting a product—you are becoming part of a movement to foster a deeper connection with the Hindi Alphabet and celebrate its rich cultural significance.
Thank you for being a part of our mission.
Warm regards,
Team, ART IKIGAI

Design Inspiration
Our Design draws inspiration from the classic Blackboard—a symbol of learning and growth. Picture a blackboard that has been wiped clean time and again, leaving behind a distinct milky black hue. This image reflects the ongoing process of education and revision.
The Hindi letters are presented in a font that mimics white chalk, evoking the familiar classroom feel and connecting us to our school days.
Front side of the t-shirt,
we’ve highlighted both Swar (vowels) and Vyanjan (consonants) with elegant gold borders. This design choice emphasizes the significance of each letter, making them stand out as valuable components of the Hindi language.
To further this educational theme, we’ve included a question mark and intentional mistakes. These elements are not mere design quirks but purposeful reminders that mastering the alphabets is about continuous learning rather than achieving perfection.
The question “Yaad hai?.. Poora” (Do you remember?.. The whole thing) is used deliberately to prompt a reflection on knowledge that is already there, just in need of a little revision.
Back side of the t-shirt,
we’ve created Two distinct designs to suit different perspectives.
For WHITE T-Shirts, the focus is on celebrating your knowledge of Hindi alphabet with pride. The design reinforces the idea that knowing these alphabets is something to be proud of.
For BLACK T-Shirts, the design embraces the reality of not knowing the alphabets and encourages the wearer to take up the challenge of REVISION.
The line “Hindi Hai Hum” on the back is intentionally open for interpretation. To us, “Hindi” symbolizes all the languages of our nation, while “Hum” represents our beloved nation itself. Together, it signifies that the languages of our nation are integral to our identity and our collective spirit. The design continues with a blackboard motif, tying it back to the front design, and concludes with the proud declaration, “Jai Hind ” celebrating our national pride.
We hope this design resonates with you and serves as a meaningful reminder of both the joy of learning and the pride of cultural heritage.
Thank you for embracing our vision and wearing it with pride!
